Updating mac os 10
I'm not able to install either version, because the installer says I need to install version 10.10.0 first. Could anyone please help me by posting a download link to OS X 10.10.0? You don't want the i Tunes Store which is only for i Phone and i Pad apps. Locate the App that resides in your Applications folder and launch it. The software is also not downloading properly from the software update (it says 'error') so the only way I can download the update is by manually downloading this. I also tried to update to version 10.9, but the OS X Install update said the software is not supported on my system. I don't understand where in the Mac App Store to download it from. I'm in i Tunes, searching in the App category for Yosemite OS X. I need to get my software updated so I can get some new DJ software working for work! OS X Snow Leopard had a magical and invisible Power PC emulation application, called Rosetta, that worked seamlessly in the background that still allowed older Power PC coded software to still operate in a Intel CPU Mac.The use of Rosetta ended with OS X Snow Leopard as the Rosetta application was licensed to Apple, from a software company called Transitive, which got bought out, I believe, by IBM and Appe could no longer secure their rights to continue to use Rosetta in later versions of OS X.So, you would need to check to see if you have software on your Mac that maybe older than, say, 2006 or older. If you have any commercial antivirus installed and/or hard drive cleaning apps installed on your Mac, like Mac Keeper, Clean My Mac, Tune Up My Mac, Mac Cleanse, etc.now would be a good time to completely uninstall this apps by doing a Google search to learn how to properly uninstall these types of apps.
