Personally, I see nothing wrong with that because we were of legal age and I was on the cusp of adulthood, but at the time some of my friends had a problem with it.
They thought it was weird that I was going out with someone 4 years older. A question for the guys You see, i'm 18 and female, my boyfriend is 22. Age of the older partner divided by two, plus seven.
And then there’s also the concern about one’s looks.
One woman, who is married to a man 14 years younger, said the only time she feels threatened by her age is when she looks in the mirror.
Dating a younger guy has taken this to the next level.
In addition to the beautifully matched lust levels and stamina, younger millennials have been exposed to a far more candid and unprejudiced dialogue about sex during their impressionable years. When I was dating men my own age, certain attitudes and behaviors were a turn-off.
I don’t see the point in judging myself by outdated standards and offensive labels, especially those rooted in misogyny.
I just wondered what people think about the fact that i was 17 and he 21 when we began dating? Personally, I see nothing wrong with that because we were of legal age and I was on the cusp of adulthood, but at the time some of my friends had a problem with it. The preconception that a younger guy won’t be able to relate to your problems/needs is BS, in my experience.
